October 2025

In this edition, I explain my new morning workout routine. My playlist for the month is titled Blitzed.

  1. Morning Workout
  2. Music Playlist – Blitzed

Morning Workout

Almost every morning, starting in mid-October, I woke up, brushed my teeth, and did a 20-minute home workout. Whether it was stretching, breathing exercises, or bodyweight exercises, I did something to get going at the start of the day.

This routine came about because I had stopped going to the gym to lift over the past month in September. If I was consistently skipping the gym, then why not do any type of exercise in the morning?

I’m glad I did it. I noticed a difference within a day or two. At work, I felt more focused and relaxed in the morning. Not stiff, not agitated; Mentally, a little bit sharper (did I use that semicolon correctly though?). Having completed a minimum exercise quota for the day I also felt good knowing that I didn’t have to bargain with myself to go to the gym in the evening.

It’s not ideal to skip the gym so regularly but a little anything is better than nothing.

Music Playlist – Blitzed

Listen to my playlist on Spotify.

Each month I create a playlist of songs that I gather from various sources. Whether it’s an intro song from an anime, a recommendation from a friend, or hearing it on the radio, I put it into my playlist if I like the song. This month, my playlist is titled Blitzed because October had moments when I felt overwhelmed; Many things going on in all directions. I really liked this playlist because it had a good mix singable and vibe-y songs.
